APPOINTMENTS

Initial assessment session 1 hour and 30 minutes, thereafter each session will last one hour.

Cost:

Initial 30 minute telephone consultation: FREE
Assessment: £100/hour
Follow-up appointments: £85/hour
Consultation: £100/hour
Travel: £65/ hour

Cost can be met through exhisting health insurance with all major UK providers. Please refer to terms and conditions of your cover.

Venue

Athlete Alive will consult to people at home, Greaves Sports and training grounds including all Scottish Institute of Sport venues.

Cancellation policy

72 hours notice of cancellation required. Otherwise 50% charge, full charge for cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments.

Like all health professionals, Clinical Psychologists are bound by professional guidelines of confidentiality and consent. This means that information discussed during your sessions are kept safely and securely, and this information is not discussed with others without your consent. However, at times it may be helpful to meet others involved in your life, but you will be consulted first, and all information shared will be kept to a minimum. It is important to note, that if you present a risk to yourself or others, then the Clinical Psychologist is legally responsible to respond to this and contact appropriate agencies.
